LEAD PASTORS

Doug and Angela have been married since 1997. They met at Central Bible College and both graduated from there (Doug 1997) (Angela 1998). They have been in ministry since 1998 and have been the pastors of ValparaisoFirst Church since 2015. Pastor Doug is ordained and Pastor Angela is Licensed with the Assemblies of God.

Pastor Doug serves as the primary visionary of the church, while Pastor Angela serves primarily to connect people to our church, and oversees LifeGroups, Growth Track, Dream Team and VFC events. They love making relationships and spending time with others. It’s their desire to see our community impacted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, so that every person has an opportunity to hear a message of Hope, Freedom, and Purpose.

They have two beautiful daughters, Alyssa and Miranda. Alyssa graduated from Southeastern University, is a first grade teacher, and is married to their son-in-law, Jack. Miranda is currently attending Southeastern University and is studying social work.

For fun, they enjoy spending time with family, going to the beach, car shows, kayaking, pickle ball, board games, drinking coffee, trying out new restaurants, and finding some great deals while shopping.
